The MeacoCool family of portable air conditioners/heaters are designed for use in the home or the office to provide personal comfort cooling during the summer months coupled with heating during the autumn and winter. They work by drawing the warm humid air from the room over a cold surface which cools and dries the air simultaneously.

The cold air is blown out of the front of the portable air conditioner whilst the warm, humid air is expelled via an exhaust duct. Removing the hot, humid air from the room reduces the relative humidity which subsequently means you have less of the sticky feeling that makes it hard for us to feel cool and comfortable during the summer months.

The new series of portable air conditioners/heaters have an Energy Rating of A, consequently making them Meaco’s most energy efficient air conditioner/heaters nevertheless allowing you to enjoy a cooler summer and a warmer winter without having to worry about your energy bills. Further, not only has the energy efficiency increased, but Meaco have also used the new R290 refrigerant making the air conditioner/heater much less environmentally harmful.

The smaller, lighter and more compact MeacoCool is fitted with castors making it easy to move from room to room allowing you to feel cool throughout the day as well as enjoying a peaceful, cool sleep at night. The easy-to-use remote control (batteries not included) enables you to control the air conditioner as required without having to move.

The MeacoCool also comes with a window kit suitable for sash windows and sliding doors. However, if this kind of window kit is not suitable for your needs, a separate flexible fabric window kit that fits all types of windows is available from Meaco. The use of a window kit prevents warm air from outside entering the room, making the cooling more efficient.
